What is the downtime?

With neurotoxin treatments there is minimal downtime after the procedure. For 4-6 hours after treatment, you will want to remain upright and avoid touching the treated area. For 24 hours after treatment, we recommend refraining from any strenuous exercise or heavy manipulation of the treated area. The use of facial products and makeup can be used the day after your treatment. All other activities can be resumed 24 hours after treatment.

What are common side effects immediately following treatment?

The most common side effects are redness and swelling that typically resolve within a couple of hours after treatment. In some cases, bruising and injection site marks can also occur which can take up to 5-7 days to resolve.

How soon will I see the results?

Results can take up to 14 days to reach their full potential. Within those 14 days you may start to notice the neurotoxin settling in with reduced movement to the treated area. At 2 weeks if you have any questions or concerns about your results, this is a good time to contact your provider for follow-up.

How long do results last?

On average the results will last 3 months. After 90 days you are eligible for your next treatment. Most people receive 3-4 treatments annually.

When is the best time to get treated prior to a special event?

We suggest getting treated 4 weeks prior to any special event. This allows ample time for healing and to allow the neurotoxin to reach its full effectiveness. If you are new to neurotoxins, we recommend having at least 1 or 2 treatments done prior to your big event to allow our providers to customize your treatment plan and ensure best results for your event.

What is the difference between Botox, Dysport, and Jeuveau?

While all neurotoxins aim to target fine lines and wrinkles, slight variations in their products do exist. At Vitality Health, we offer all three of these neurotoxins and can review the differences during your initial consultation to ensure the right product is chosen to fit your aesthetic needs.

What areas can be treated?

Areas that are most commonly treated with neurotoxins to improve fine lines and wrinkles include 11s (between the eyebrows), forehead, and crows feet. However, neurotoxins can also be used in other areas of the face to enhance facial features and treat certain conditions such as TMJ. Our providers can discuss additional treatment areas that you may benefit from during your visit.

What is the average cost of treatment?

Most of our neurotoxin treatments are priced per unit, so the total cost will vary based on the areas being treated as

well as the individual’s needs. On average, you can expect to spend between $300 to $500 per treatment. However, there are several ways to reduce these costs.

How can I save on this treatment?

Many of the neurotoxin brands we provide offer complimentary rewards programs. This means that after your treatment, you'll accumulate points that can be used to save money on your next session. We can assist you in enrolling in these rewards programs if you haven't already signed up. Additionally, we occasionally have in-office coupons or specials to use for your treatment as well. Another guaranteed way to save on treatments during each visit is by becoming a VIP member, which grants you a 10% discount on every neurotoxin treatment. Feel free to inquire with our team members for more details if you're interested in becoming a member!
